Stephani Martinsen, Doctor of pharmacy
Purescripts founder and owner, Stephani Martinsen has a passion for caring for people and guiding them to a healthy life. After earning her Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm D) degree from the University of Minnesota, she worked retail pharmacy for 15 years and long-term care pharmacy for nine.
Over the course of her career, Stephani saw patients taking medications that were not improving their health—and in some cases even making them feel worse. She recognized a gap in healthcare: Medications and care in general take a “one-size-fits-all” approach.
Unfortunately, this approach leaves many patients out of the equation, falling through the cracks and suffering without a place to turn. Stephani determined that patients just want to be heard.
She founded Purescripts Compounding Pharmacy in 2013. At Purescripts, Stephani developed an approach to personal care where she spends time listening to concerns and input—individual values, goals, history, lifestyle and more. She believes in finding the root cause of issues and not merely masking symptoms. Stephani meets each patient where they are in creating personalized care for the individual.
Rae Caulfield, technician
Rae attended the University of Minnesota and majored in biochemistry, genetics, and cell biology. She has specialized training in veterinary pharmacy, opioid addiction and recovery, diabetes medication therapy management and medication therapy management.
Rae is passionate about homeopathy and holistic treatments and continues to pursue areas and certifications including: botanical remedies for pets, natural home care remedies, essential oils, crystals, and teas.
In her spare time Rae likes to spend time with her husband and son, her numerous pets and tending to her flower beds and gardens (including herb and tea gardens). She has a passion for rescuing special needs animals to ensure they have specialized care they need.

Purescripts relocated to a brand-new state-of-the-art lab and retail store in May of 2020, conveniently located in Bloomington, MN. The location offers supplements, compounding services, consultation and frequency therapy.
